What is this project all about?

Westfield Primary school have a varied and exciting range of outdoor resources, and their pupils have had a large hand in the conception and development of these areas. The teachers at Westfield Primary use the outdoor spaces to enhance a variety of lessons and skills development. By observing and assisting with the existing provision, you will bring together best practice of existing and new ideas to create a series of 6 lesson plans that can be used to deliver outdoor sessions to classes of upper primary school children.

The aim of the project is to create a series of engaging and stimulating lesson plans for primary school children that use the outdoors as a place for learning.
